It is with complete humbleness to share the exciting news that I have been nominated as one of three Top Breeders of the Year by Purina Pro Plan and DN Magazine. Words cannot describe the overwhelming wave of emotion and gratitude I have since hearing this news, just off the heels of being named “AKC Terrier Breeder of the Year”. To be recognized by two leading organizations in one year is beyond my wildest dreams! I started on this journey 19 years ago by falling in love with a little brown dog barely known in the US because of the mild yet feisty nature of the breed and simply felt everyone should experience this same passion.
This nomination is truly a collaboration of so many people in my life with whom this would have not been possible. I share this with my partner Mark, my family and friends who have always given unwavering support; my co-breeders and business partners who trust my judgement, instincts, and my failures; all the Sterling Grooming clients who have rallied behind me with patience and understanding, all who own a Meadowlake Border Terrier and promote the Breed, and last but not least, my business partner, Tom Bradley, who has been my voice of reason, motivates me to do my best, and who believed in me from the beginning.
